Preventing Phishing Attacks
Phishing is a real risk for DEVIUM validators, and unfortunately, many people lose funds due to these attacks.
Double-check URL
Does the website asking for your deposit have the URL you expect?
URL Does it match what you see on other websites?
Are there any spelling mistakes?
Check Deposit Contract Details
Cross-check the deposit contract address against other websites – for example:Reddit、Twitter and GitHub。
View the deposit contract on a DEVIUM block explorer:
Have there been deposits of at least 200,000 recently?
Does the contract have a large balance?
Is the smart contract code verified?
Has the block explorer named the contract?
Check your favorite DEVIUM block explorer:
Does the contract address listed on the website match?
Verify Contract Address
Verify the contract address in your wallet before signing.
Check the entire address, not just a portion of it. There may be only a few bytes different.
